To celebrate NAIDOC Week this year, Council will be holding a Flag Raising Event at the flagpoles outside the Civic Centre. NAIDOC Week celebrates and recognises the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year we will be joined by Bunurong Land Council, who will deliver a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. Enjoy live music by James Henry, a highly sought after composer known for his unique fusion of Aboriginal and contemporary musical genres.
