DESCRIPTION:About\nALHS and Seabreeze Quilters are joining forces to unearth crafting traditions from times past – from pedal powered treadle sewing machines to participating in a workshop hand stitching a ‘chatelaine’ – useful sewing items that would hang from the belt of the lady of the house. \nParticipants will be invited to learn how to sew patchwork squares on one of the two reconditioned machines housed within the Homestead – the squares will be made into Care Quilts that will be given out to members of the community. \nAll materials will be supplied and morning and afternoon tea is provided – lunch can be obtained from local cafes or participants can bring their own lunch. \n\n\nDate\nSunday 4 May 2025 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM (UTC+10) \n\nBookings\nBookings can be made through Trybooking – https://www.trybooking.com/CZJGJ
